Professional Highlights:
A work history equally impressive to his education includes twenty years experience in domestic and international energy. Harry Collins comes to the Center with his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and a Masters in Civil Law with Distinction and with Honors from Tulane School of Law. Completion of his master’s degree included the honor of having his thesis published by the American Bar Association.
Mr. Collins currently works for Sequent Energy and previously worked for various high profile and chief business and legal entities including Enron, Houston Cellular, Baker & Botts and Hemisphere Oil & Gas, Inc. His scope of work includes international commodities, trading law, maritime law, anti-trust, contract and consumer litigation, international petroleum business and environmental, OSHA and EPA compliance matters.
Teaching:
Mr. Collins is no stranger to teaching. He currently teaches evening students at the Center and has taught law classes to paralegals and law students for the past twenty years at various colleges. His easy going, laid-back style and personality belie his impressive resume. Students find him very approachable. Perhaps that is why they are at ease with his instruction and enthusiastic about his classes.
