Patrick T. Sharkey is a partner in the Business Transaction section of Jackson Walker L.L.P.
Mr. Sharkey has over 30 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney representing numerous real estate investors, developers, health care providers, REITs and lenders with respect to a wide variety of commercial real estate matters.

Mr. Sharkey is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Education:
Mr. Sharkey received his B.A. degree in Political Science from Columbia University in 1973 and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1976.

Memberships:
Mr. Sharkey is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section), the American Bar Association (Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law), the Houston Bar Association, and the American Arbitration Association. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Industrial Leasing and the Ownership and Management Committees of the ABA Section of Real Property,
Probate and Trust Law. Mr. Sharkey has served as President of the Houston Bar Association's Real Estate Law Section.

Awards:
Mr. Sharkey won the Probate & Property 2000 Excellence in Writing Award for Best Overall Article. He was named a "Texas Super Lawyer" in November 2003, October 2004 and October 2005 issues of Texas Monthly magazine.
