The Center is a leader in providing practical and comprehensive
courses to those interested in entering the paralegal profession.
Our programs meet the high standards established by legal and educational
institutions and incorporate the recommendations expressed by members
of our Advisory Committee, local attorneys,
practicing paralegals, educators, and paralegal associations.
Both the Paralegal Certificate
program and the AAS Degree program
ensure our graduates the degree requirements recommended to enter
the paralegal profession. Paralegal Certificate students have received
a bachelor’s degree prior to entering the Center, whereas
AAS Degree students earn their degree upon completion.
The Paralegal Certificate program
for college graduates is streamlined to provide education in the
most employable and demanding areas of the law.
The AAS Degree in Paralegal Studies
ensures thorough preparation for a paralegal career by including
each area of law covered in the Paralegal Certificate program with
the addition of law specialty courses such as Immigration Law, Criminal
Law, and Wills, Trusts and Probate. Additional general education
and computer courses complete the requirements for this degree program. |
