With a bachelor’s degree in hand and a desire to find an interesting and challenging career, I paid a visit to the Center For Advanced Legal Studies in the summer of 2000. I decided to give the program a try. I am so happy that I did. The professors at the school are a wealth of knowledge and offer all the tools necessary to have a successful career in the legal field. From researching case law to interviewing witnesses, the school thoroughly prepares one for the hectic schedule of a paralegal and all the challenges that will be faced. But perhaps most importantly, the Center For Advanced Legal Studies offers a lifetime placement program. After working in an entry level paralegal position for one year I gave the school a call and I was bombarded with interviews. The staff is wonderful, caring and helpful. I would like to give my sincere thanks to the faculty and staff at the Center For Advanced Legal Studies.

After working in management for about six years I decided to make a career change. The Center for Advanced Legal Studies offers a paralegal certificate. In addition, the specialized training went well with my degree in Criminal Justice. The program lasted 7 months and I found a part-time job working with a Family Law attorney.

Through my education and training I have landed a great job with an International IP firm. Another great benefit is the lifetime career placement offered by the school. The program was short and beneficial but also necessary for a start in the legal field.
